Florence
Apart from the crowded tourist sights, which are certainly worth seeing, Florence offers many peaceful spots, and magical moments that make up a more personal journey through the art and history of the city. Perhaps not everyone is aware for ex- ample, of the park of 160 hectares and 3.5 kilometers long in the centre of the city, or that one can even find oneself alone in the wonderful gardens of the villa Bardini.

Bologna
Bologna is home to one of the oldest and most famous universities in Europe and the city still bustles nowadays with students of all ages. Despite the passage of time, the historic centre maintains much of its original layout. Particularly attractive are the many ocher-coloured arcades, which allow pedestrians to walk quickly and safely in the old town. In spite of the importance of the city for cultural and political life in Italy, Bologna is often bypassed by tourists, and it is for this very reason that it is a great place to experience the Italian day to day life and actually feel like one of the locals.

Capraia Island
It is said that when Venus, the goddess of beauty and fertility, rose from the sea, her necklace broke and seven pearls fell into the sea, forming the impressive scenery of the seven Tuscan islands Beyond the rolling hillsides and beautiful towns, across the sea, off the coast of Tuscany a different land reveals itself, untouched, well preserved and full of wild beauty. Capraia is sparsely populated, with its inhabitants centred on the harbour and nearby village. Its dramatic coastline and landscape offer the visitor a wonderful combination of high cliffs, coves and the unspoilt inland with its glorious views over the surrounding sea to the other islands ( Elba, Corsica, Montecristo...) and the Tuscan coast.
